China  Xi'an Mechanic and Design Institute of Light Industry is the national key institute which is the technical
development center of the China National Light Industry Equipment Group Corporation. It also is the first batch technological development scientific research organizations
directly under central government R&D institute. It owns more than 60 engineers and technics which including 25 senior engineers, over 30 engineers, 3 professor senior engineers and 2 experts who got government allowance. It establishes a mechanical R&D room, an electric automation room and four major light industry instrument research rooms. The company is responsible for the specialized production of food machinery, packaging machinery, feedstuff equipment, paper machinery, environment protection equipment and all kinds of research, design and undertake some engineering on light industry measuring instruments.
         The testing factory of our institute is responsible for the new products development and research, and it also undertakes mass production. Our products were distributed in domestic many provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and part of them have exported to the international market, which included the eighth-five-year state key technologies R&D project, the ninth-five-year state key extension project, DDGS high protein feed production technology and equipment, the eighth-five-year technology development project maize oil-extracting production technology and equipment, separation, drying and evaporation equipment, series milk packing machinery (soybean milk production line, 50-60 pack/min milk powder packing machine, 2000-4000 pack/h milk's aseptic packaging machine which self-life could arrive at more than 3 months, and it also matches the UHT sterilizing); beer filling & packing production line and carbonated drinks (including washing machine, label-affixing machine, containers loading and moving machine, 40 thousand bottle per hour beer filling & packing production line, 24 thousand bottle per hour pure draught beer production line which matches 20-60 pack/min heat shrinking film packaging machine); non-carbonated drinks (natural mineral water normal and negative pressure filling line which matches bottle-waher, washing and filling machine, capping, labeling, sealing, plug setting, trapping label machine and leak checking machine, etc. And the capacity could get 3000-12000 bottle/hour.), PET bottled production line (unscrambler, washer filling, trapping label machine, the capacity could get 18000 bottle/hour); food packaging machinery (multi-purpose, big pack powder, tiny powder packaing machine), deep-processing of agricultural products project (jujube keeps fresh storage transmission technology and equipment, grain equipment of small-scale packing production line, DVS high-activity freeze-dry powder of probioctics.), honeycomb board production line, etc. And our institute have glass paper former, carton board machine, corrugating base board machine, etc. At present, the main products in our institute are packaging machine, case sealer, opening machine, issue packaging machine, auto-saccharification machine, disc crusher, beer turbidity meter, infrared moisture meter and photoelectric refractometer, etc.
         Recently, our institute started to carry out more than 100 researches, and some of them has got 23 awards of R&D great technical achievements and 21 awards of science and technology advancement prize.
         After nearly 50 years development, our institute has a superior technology and experienced R&D design team, and also has the capacity on new technology and production's development & design and the ability on undertake some
engineering.
